Welcome - The Blackheath School Of Dance
|
 The school was established over fifty years ago as a Ballet school, and our classes are taught by fully qualified and experienced teachers in a caring, encouraging and structured environment.
With a strong legacy of Ballet to build upon Louise Rodgers (or Miss Louise as she is known to her students) became a principal of the school in 1997. Louise trained at Stella Mann College for three years gaining her I.S.T.D Teaching Examinations in Tap, Ballet and Modern and was also awarded her college Teaching Diploma. Since leaving College Louise has also passed her I.S.T.D Associate Diploma in Ballet.
We hold a show every other year with past performances held at the Woolwich Town Hall, The Broadway Theatre, Catford and twice at Her Majesty's Theatre in London.
